The training department has the following objectives:
- Detecting member companies’ new competence requirements in order to enhance their position in terms of competitiveness
- Identifying training gaps between the programs currently run and the needs of the employees to acquire new skills
- Facilitating skills acquisition among current employees, constantly enhancing their knowledge and competences by giving them access to an update range of training programs
- Developing occupational training for unemployed professionals in the sector and facilitating their return to employment
- Promoting tailored training based on the specific needs of one or several companies by designing, planning and running focused in-company courses
- Working with the authorities and training providers to develop a Sector Training Plan
