Jornada Economía circular
The European Green Deal establishes a commitment to address the challenges related to the climate and the environment and achieve a climate-neutral economy by 2050. In the interiors design sector, every year 10 million tons of furniture are discarded by companies and consumers in the EU, most of which are destined for landfills or incineration.
The implementation of strategies to move towards a circular economy is the main way to achieve this objective. It is increasingly necessary for companies to develop new business models that incorporate circularity principles to accelerate this transition and it is essential to train workers with new circularity skills.
This webinar will contribute to share ideas about the current state of art in circular economy of the sector. Ellen MacArthur Foundation, European Federation of Furniture Industries (EFIC) and CENFIM cluster will participate. The work to be presented has been carried out within the framework of the FURN360 project. The webinar will be held in English.
